My name is Fritz Veltman and I’m the founder and sole instructor of Cape Fear Surf Company LLC. I’ve been lucky enough to spend every summer on Bald Head since I was born and I quickly fell in love with surfing here on the island when I was 9. For the past 5 summers I’ve been teaching surf lessons here on the island, and this is my second summer doing so with my own company. I graduated from a boarding school in California, and I'm currently a rising junior at UNC Chapel Hill. Despite spending lots of time surfing better waves in California and elsewhere around the globe, Bald Head remains my favorite place to surf. I’m excited to share the opportunity to surf in this special place with you all!
